Hello everyone! Today I give you mama & papa osprey.

There are two nest close to the road. This makes for easy viewing, but there isn't much of a shoulder to really enjoy.

Not far from Nest 1 is papa.

Hunkered down in the nest is mama.

Nest 2. Papa.

And Nest 2 - mama.

It's Friday, so it must be Looking at the Sky on Friday. If I took a picture of today's sky, oh how bored you would be. Drab gray. So I share with you today a picture taken earlier this month of a beautiful lake with white fluffy clouds.

Today is a day at the zoo. I do enjoy going to the zoo. But generally half way through I feel bad. Bad that these lovely animals should not be caged, but at home in the wild. For some (most) this is impossible. We have intruded (encroached) into their territory (homes). When they fight back, they are hunted. Some species are nearly extinct because of hunting, poaching, loss of habitat.



If credible zoo's and/or sanctuaries can help bring back the depleted numbers, I'm all for it.
