Today is a day at the zoo. I do enjoy going to the zoo. But generally half way through I feel bad. Bad that these lovely animals should not be caged, but at home in the wild. For some (most) this is impossible. We have intruded (encroached) into their territory (homes). When they fight back, they are hunted. Some species are nearly extinct because of hunting, poaching, loss of habitat.



If credible zoo's and/or sanctuaries can help bring back the depleted numbers, I'm all for it.

Hello Everyone. I was really at a loss as to what to post today. I could have posted some horse pictures I took last week, but I'm not. maybe next week.

I could have bored you some more with my little fur babies, but I'm not. There's always time for that:o)

Last night I had a little visitor. First visitors of the year. And when I say little, I mean little.

They're back. The little green jewels are back.
