Camera Critters

This week I am asking for your help. I went to Lily Lake, Cape May Point and this bird was standing very proud. Does anyone know what it is? I thought maybe heron, until it went into the water.

Then I thought cormorant.

I came across this pond while driving down the road. It was so beautiful I had to turn around for some photos. If you look closely, you can see some ducks swimming away from me. I guess they were camera shy.
