Sky Watch

I honestly don't remember when I took this picture. I do know that it was outside the Walgreens. The cloud formation, sunrays and blue sky, how could you not be in awe.

Scenic Sunday

Hi! I had this ready to go for Scenic Sunday, but the home page doesn't yet have Mr. Linky up. I will keep checking.

Hello everyone and welcome to my contribution for Scenic Sunday. This picture was taken last year around this time. I thought it appropriate to add a bit of autumn colors.

Camera Critters

Hello fellow critter lovers. I am doing alpacas again. This is Sebastian and Marcel Marceau. They are one year old and not fully growth. (That's what the sign said.)

Every year Cold Spring Village has a small craft show and a halloween parade for the children. After the parade I was walking around and came across these two cuties. I felt bad for them because the kids were running up to the fencing and yelling. Poor things were scared. One little one said to their parents, "Can we get one?" I had to laugh. If they only knew how much just one alpaca is worth. Let's just say that one alpaca could pay for a nice little car. Alpacas are very expensive. (if you have time visit here and click on investment potential for a price range.)
So I hope you have enjoyed my contribution to critter's this week. To see other cute critter's, click on the icon above or here. Camera Critters is hosted by Misty. Have a good weekend everyone.

Sky Watch

Hello! This week I am bringing you back to one of my favorite places. Yup. You guessed it. Cape May Point.

This picture was taken after Labor Day. Hardly anyone on the beaches this time of year. I had walked up onto the dune to scan for dolphins, but saw this instead. I was in such awe, I stood there for a couple of minutes before that little voice in my head said, "Hey dummy. Snap out of it and take the picture." I am glad for that little voice.

I got an award

Kelly of America as seen by Kelly, was gracious enough to award me with this Kreativ Blogger award. I can't thank her enough for thinking of me and considering me a kreativ blogger. Kelly is a very sweet lady. Her photography is beautiful and makes you feel as if you are there with her. Her writing is from the heart and so sincere. Please visit her, but won't be disappointed.

With the award, I have to list six things that make me happy. Now how tough is that? There are so many things that make me happy. Well here we go.

1. Oblivious my furry felines come in at the number one spot. As I don't have any immediate family, they fill that void. I am guaranteed many smiles and laughs daily with them.

2. My friends. Both personal and bloggers. They bring me much joy. Even though sometimes we get mad at our friend's, they are there for us now matter what. They are there when we need a shoulder to cry on. To sit in comfortable silence. Or to get in trouble with. They say that a friend will be there when you need them, but a good friend will be sitting next to you in jail. Not that I have ever been to jail. Blogger friends share with us their life. They offer cyber hugs and laughs. I do enjoy reading about them and their adventures. The only bad part is not being there with them.

3. The seasons. I do enjoy the change in seasons. Spring - when every things comes alive with color and beauty. Summer - for the longer days and more activity. Fall - for the brilliant colors and cooler weather. Winter - for the cold. I do love cold weather. On occasion I even enjoy snow for it's beauty.

4. Picture taking. I never really understood until recently the joy in this new hobby of mine. When I am out and about now, I look at things differently. I see the pure beauty in my surroundings. I have learned to have more patience in everyday life.

5. Bodies of water. Doesn't matter if it is the ocean or a small pond or lake. Water is calming whether I am near it or just looking at a picture.

6. Animals. I started with my furry friends and now I end with all animals, domestic and not. Except snakes. I love animals because they are so carefree. Non judgemental. Loyal. Curious. Funny. I think you get the point. I am an animal lover through and through. Always have been. Always with be.

So there you have it. Six things that make me happy.

This award also came with rules to pass onto six other bloggers. Here is where I rebel. Every blogger out there is creative and I feel bad choosing who to pass an award onto. So I am offering an open invitation to all bloggers. Please feel free to take this award. You are all deserving. Feel free to take this award and pass it onto other bloggers you feel deserve this award.

I would like to thank Kelly again for giving me this. I do appreciate it very much. Thank you.

Camera Critters

A couple of weekends ago, I visited a local alpaca farm. One of the owners, Warren, informed me that these were the guys. The guys were out front and the pregnant females were in back. Warren didn't take me over the the pregnant females. It would have cause them too much stress having a stranger so near them.

But this is little Pearl. She stood there until I took her picture and then started eating. What a sweetie she is.
If you have a cute critter picture that you would like to share. Or if you just love looking at critter's, please visit here. Camera Critters is hosted by Misty Dawn. Stop by and say hello.

Glamour me

This is the last of the "girl" pictures.

Many years ago a friend was having a glamour party and asked if I wanted to come and get be-doodled. Why not.

This was way out of my comfort zone, but a lot of fun.

Well Cliff, there you have it. Not girls, but girl. The girl is now a bit heavier and more gray, but basically looks the same. Well not the same as these pictures. A curling iron in my hands is dangerous. Come to think of it, so it make-up.

A handsome man and babe

My friend Cliff had left me a comment about my photo blog. He liked it, but was disappointed that there weren't any pictures of girls. He left a second comment that I still didn't have any girl pictures.

I have given it a lot of thought and didn't want to disappoint him. (I ready don't want him bugging me, lol.) So the next several entries are for you Cliff.

Pop-pop and me.

When I was cleaning out my attic, (I live in my pop-pop and gram's house) I came across this picture. I asked my mom who the baby was and she said it was me. (Yes. My fingers are really that long.)

So, I hope you approve Cliff. There will be several more girl photos to come. So stay tuned.

(Just something that I would like share we everyone. Most of the pictures I found in the attic and when I was going through my mom's and Auntie Violet's, didn't have a date and who was in the picture, written on the back. I had to get rid of a lot of pictures because I had know idea who they were and didn't have anyone to ask. Please write who is in the picture and a date for your family.)

Camera Critters

Hello everyone and welcome to my new photo site. I hope you enjoy.

I found this big guy on one my Hosta's out front of my house. It is getting close to the time when I cut them back. I am having second thoughts about cutting this Hosta back. I just hope he doesn't have any friend's who have taken up residence on any other one.

I didn't say it last week, but I will say it this week. This is my favorite time of the week. Not only is it the weekend, but we get to see other critters by visiting here.

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Hello everyone and welcome to my new photo site. I hope you like it.
This week's Sky Watch is the Atlantic Ocean and the waves crashing. Don't you just love the sound of waves. There is something therapeutic about it. When I look at these pictures I can feel a serenity wash over me.
