Camera Critters

When I came home for lunch one day, I thought it odd that my baby didn't greet me at the door. I was calling for her, but she didn't show herself or meow. Being the overprotective mom I am, I started to panic. Thinking the worst, I was going from room to room searching for her. Looking in her favorite sleeping spots, behind furniture, checking to make sure the screens were still in the windows that were open. Couldn't find her. I went into the kitchen and noticed this.
Can you see her looking my way? She must have been thinking "Oh Shit! I'm in trouble now." Or just laughing that she made a fool of me.
I went over and pulled up the blind, "Busted".

Is that the face of a guilty cat or what? Can't even look her mom in the eyes.

I'm convinced that cats are at the very least as smart as little kids, who all know the rules of when you can or can't be seen. For exapmle, hiding your face means you're invisible even if the rest of you is sticking out.

I'm sure you were worried - I know the feeling. But, that's funny. She didn't want to get up from that airy place of comfort.

Very funny post but I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time. Our dog has put me through the panic test several times, I swear in their hands thier laughing at us.

I don't think that a cat ever feel guilty. Mostly they look satisfied, thinking 'I did it again':-)

My cat has done the same thing to me several times. Once I find her she'll give me the innocent face and all is forgiven. I'm sure you were relieved when you saw Lovey's shadow behind the blinds. Lol!

I'm glad you were able to find her ... that must of been quite a scare. It's a good thing she went under the blind to sit there, I know my cat would have went through the blind, I have seen it... sigh.
Great post!

that is cute, i have the same thing here accept mine have broken off about 4 of the blinds so they can crawl thru without a problem, kind of hard to get mad at them for it.
Nice capture
