Watery Wednesday

This is my first time participating in Watery Wednesday. I take a lot of photos of water, so I figured I would join this fun meme.

The picture I chose today is at one of my favorite places.

Jake's Landing on a warmer-sunnier day. I first started going to Jake's Landing for a short-earred owl watch. I didn't see any owls, but saw my first Bald Eagle.

I have been back to Jake's Landing many times. On owl watches, looking for Bald Eagles, getting sunset pictures and just because it is a beautiful-peaceful place.

It does look a wonderful place for a wander.
Thanks for sharing!
PS I really like the photo of Lovey in the sidebar. Just her expression is so appealling.

That's a lovely WW shot. You're lucky to have so many beautiful spots close to home to visit and shoot off photos. It must be fun going back to Jake's Landing at different times of the year to do some photographing. You have some really nice shots on your blog. Happy WW.

Nice place to wander off to. Short eared owls - spotted any yet? We have eagles on our lake and marsh hawks down by the pond next to our house. No owls that I've seen yet.

Pretty. Is this a good place to kayak?

I was just thinking of a canoe on that water. Very pretty spot!
