It's Camera Critters time and Valentine's Day. I have decided to share my sweethearts.
Little Miss Yipper.
What an independent girl she is. Everything is on her terms.
Which is fine with me. When she wants to be petted, I pet her.
When she wants to be left alone, I leave her alone.
When she was a kitten, what a geeky looking thing she was.
But as you can see, she has grown into a beautiful young girl.

Ralphy my boy/Mr. Handsome I named him Ralph Mouth from Happy Days.
Looking at him, for the obvious reason.
The other reason. He never shuts up. Constantly talking.
He is a gentle giant. He towers over Yipper and my baby.
He outweighs them too. But when he is with my baby and me
he is very gentle. Sometimes it's different with his sister.

Lovey/My Baby/SweetheartThis is my baby. She has been with me for many years.
She is up there in years and the years are taking their toll
on her. She is having a harder time jumping up. I have
place chairs in places I know she loves,(the laundry room) to make it easier for her jump into her favorite window. And other areas.
I have never had a cat like her. She doesn't have a mean bone
in her body.
I got her from a friend who had to get rid of her because her daughter developed allergies. Her name was Smokey when I got here. But once I got to know her and she got to know me, Smokey didn't fit her. She loves to cuddle and she is just a love to be around. Because of this, I renamed her Lovey.
I could go on and on, but I have gabbed enough.

What you said about Lovey reminded me of a cat I used to have, Maggie. I had two other cats and three big dogs at the same time, and no matter where I put kitty's food bowl, the dogs seemed to get it. I decided to put it on top of an old fashioned piano we had.. one of those with the high back on it.
After a while, not TOO long mind you, I noticed Maggie beginning to lose weight. She was too old to make the jump to get the food. Poor baby! I did manage to find a place for her to eat where the dogs couldn't get it.
I could read about them every day. They're so beautiful
Mia is having a hard time getting up on some things - I have little foot stools all over to make it easier for her and still she does the jump each time!

I can relate to having a "gentle giant" around. It's funny to watch our youngest beat up on him, and he just takes it... for the most part!

I have a gray just like yours..he's eleven now. They are smart too! I've always wanted a orange one..I've have a few friends who do and they are rascals!
