Last week, I took a walk on the boardwalk. Looking out over the beach to the Atlantic Ocean, a sense of peace washed over me.

Your Atlantic looks like my Pacific. :-) Very nice shot. The beach always gives me a sense of peace and calm. Scientifically I think it's the ions caused by the crashing waves but I think it's more than that. The beach is just beautiful! :-)
I can understand why you would feel such a sense of peace looking at this scene. It is absolutely beautiful. The reflection on the water would be hypnotic. Great shot!
It looks almost how I imagine the moon to look like - minus the water ;)
I love the beach myself! Yours is very flat and clean. Mine has tons of sea shells on it.
