Today is a day at the zoo. I do enjoy going to the zoo. But generally half way through I feel bad. Bad that these lovely animals should not be caged, but at home in the wild. For some (most) this is impossible. We have intruded (encroached) into their territory (homes). When they fight back, they are hunted. Some species are nearly extinct because of hunting, poaching, loss of habitat.
If credible zoo's and/or sanctuaries can help bring back the depleted numbers, I'm all for it.

You do such a great job with your animal pictures, showing them with no bars between them and the camera. I love the giraffes.
