Welcome to my photo blog. I just started taking pictures a little more than a year ago, thanks to my friend Bobbie. I still consider myself just a picture taker, but I think within this time, my pictures have improved. None of my pictures are altered in anyway.

This one's a cutie.
Lisa, your pix are terrific but may I offer a suggestion? When you shoot using your zoom .. you need a tripod or to hold the camera steadier - take a deep breath, hold it til AFTER the shutter snaps then your pix will be sharper.

You describe yourself as just a picture taker which is what I call myself. But I really have come around to the thought that the photos are to record a memory that was important enough to us to want to keep it. In that vein ,if my photo isn't perfectly clear or lined up just right or whatever, it doesn't matter. There are always going to be photographs that are better than mine, but they won't ever hold the significance to me that mine do. So please..this photo is adorable..
